One day, I just happened to drive past this fine male Kestrel perched on a monument just off the
bypass on the edge of town. It was preening and posing nicely in the morning sunshine.
Sometimes you get lucky: all the camera gear was in the car, the light was superb and I managed to
pull over off the busy fast road without scaring the bird.
